I bought the strawberry cheesecake and orange creamsicle dips thinking they would be a healthier alternative. I do love supporting small & local biz and just assumed the was the quality I was receiving would be top tier.
Unfortunately I did not check the ingredients until I got home (my OWN fault) and realized I couldn’t give it to my kiddos as we are a dye-free household. I decided I would still make it and try it for myself so it did not go to waste…..except it did. I couldn’t get past the jello flavor — that is all I tasted. So I threw it out. I used the recipe that called for cream cheese and cool whip and the artificial flavor was still way too strong for me to enjoy.
I hope the other products don’t taste like they are filled with artificial flavors or colors but I don’t think I will be taking the chance.
The idea is great, though. Hopefully this company can pivot to carrying more wholesome and naturally flavored and colored products.
